Cozumel – Playa del Carmen Ferry

Buying tickets for the Cozumel ferry
There are two ferry companies that make the passage between Playa Del Carmen and Cozumel. They both have kiosks right before the ferry pier, but you can purchase your tickets in advance online. You can buy one way or round trip tickets. Its recommended to buy a one way ticket and then buy a ticket when you are ready to come back. No need to wait for a ferry that you already bought a return ticket for, and worrying about the time as they run all day until 10PM
The ferry to Cozumel normally takes about 30-40 minutes depending on the weather. Arrive 15-20 minutes earlier as the ferry usually arrives before departure to load guests to leave on time.
